Pangborn Letter 10/95 says enlisted 3rd Battaliaon, DeLanceys Brigage,taken prisonor at Sag Harbor, Long Island 24 May 177, excaped in August1777. Conn Courant and Weekley Intellingcer Money Aug 18, 177 describeshi as from Stamford, Conn, left there around Feb 1777, about 20 yrs old,short of stature, dark hair, right hand contracted by a burn received asa child.
