General Notes:
Benjamin Scott and his father-in-law, John Kinsey, were passenger on the "Kent" which arrived in 1677. Benjamin Scott was a Member of the Society of Friends, a London commissioner, whose first duty was to purchase land from the Indians, and a Founder of Burlington.
It is not known if Benjamin Scott returned to England before or after his father, William Scott, died in 1680, however, a daughter, Elizabeth, was born on board ye ship "Henry and Ann" at Gravesend, Kent Co., England, on 7-5th mo. 1781 on the return voyage.
Benjamin Scott was a Signer of Concessions and Agreements, 1677, Justice of Burlington and Land Commissioner, 1682, and Member of the Asembly, 1684
